Arrival of your international flight. Met by our Best of Uganda & Tanzania Safari representative and transferred to a hotel. Check-in and overnight stay on BB at the hotel in Arusha.

Day 2 – Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After morning Best of Uganda & Tanzania Safari breakfast, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park where you will first meet the mto wa mbu community which is an assorted ethnic concentration of various foodstuffs and their preparation, architectural designs, and famous wood carvings, arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon you head to the park for a game drive experience with the possibility of viewing Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, and impalas among others as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After early morning breakfast, you connect to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda the land of a thousand hills. From Kigali, you connect to Uganda driving through the impressive hillside landscapes of Rwanda. Day 7 – Gorilla trekking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following morning breakfast at the lodge, drive to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing by park rangers about gorilla trekking before commencing to the gorilla sanctuary, 7:30 am Start Gorilla trekking; the ranger-guide takes you through the huge Bwindi Forest as you search for the giant apes.
The venture of spending Best of Uganda & Tanzania Safari time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome and thrilling experience to be long relished but tiresome. Day 8 – Queen Elizabeth –Morning Game Drive-Boat Cruise-Kibale National Park
After morning breakfast, you set off for the game drive which is conducted in the Kasenyi plains one of the popular wild game viewing sectors with sights of animals like elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, leopard, and topis among others. The experience lasts for close to 3-4 hours return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Afternoon gather for a boat cruise at the jetty enjoying the calming waters of the channel with the view of wild animals that come to cool off at the channel shores like elephants, buffalos, Nile crocodiles, and so many others. From the boat cruise, you will transfer to Kibale National Park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 9 – Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park and Bigodi Swamp Walk in the afternoon
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest: Breakfast will be served at your lodge in the early morning, following which you will move to Kanyanchu Tourism Center for a briefing, and the Chimpanzee trekking will begin at 8 a.m. The chimp trekking adventure will last between 2 and 5 hours and will include excursions through the wooded scenery that covers a large portion of Kibale National Park.
Bigodi Swamp Walk: That afternoon, you’ll embark on a guided nature walk to the Bigodi Swamp. During the nature walk, you may expect to see a variety of bird species including the Rare Shoe bill stork, as well as primates such as the Vervet and L’Hoest Monkeys. You will also have an opportunity to visit the local craft stall at Bigodi where you can buy a few souvenirs for yourself and your loved ones while supporting the local community.
